Monday 8th June: Royal Burgh Ex-Standard Bearers Dinner - County Hotel, 7.30 p.m. (members and guests only)
Tuesday 9th June: Merchant Company Bussin - Philiphaugh Suite, Rugby Club, 7.30 p.m. (members and guests only)

Common Riding Day - Rouse Parade 4.00 a.m. Flute Band preambles town wakening in turn Standard Bearer and Provost;
Act of Remembrance 5.30 a.m. Ex-Soldiers at War Memorial;
First Drum 6.00 a.m. Silver Band play round the town;
6.15 a.m. Exiles' Song 'Her Bright Smile' at County Hotel;
6.30 a.m. Foot Procession arrives at Victoria Halls, riders assemble in Back Row;
6.45 a.m. Installation of Standard Bearer and Bussin' of Royal Burgh Flag on balcony of Victoria Hall;
6.55 a.m. Procession Forms and marches to Market Place;
Second Drum 7.00 a.m. Procession moves off 'down the Green';
7.30 a.m. Riders ford River Ettrick;
7.45 a.m. Riders in Linglie Glen;
8.45 a.m. Riders at Summit of Three Brethern;
9.00 a.m. Procession re-forms in Market Place and leaves for Shawburn Toll;
9.20 a.m. At the Toll, community singing led by bands until - 9.40 a.m. (approx.) Coming in of the Burley and riders return;
10.15 a.m. (approx.) Procession re-forms again and returns to Market Place via Bleachfield Road and High Street;
11.00 a.m. (approx) Casting of the Colours;
11.10 a.m. (approx.) Two Minutes Silence;
11.15 a.m. (approx.) Return of the Burgh Flag "unsullied and untarnished" and end of ceremonial.

Common Riding Ball - Victoria Hall, 9.00 p.m.
